Date Farmers for Obama
Recently our very own Date Farmers showed their support for Obama at the
Democratic National Convention in Denver, CO with a giant Obama mural as
part of a 4-day art show by Evolutionary Media who produced and curated
the Manifest Hope Gallery, a temporary space displaying Obama-inspired
art by some of the country’s best artists of the genre including Shepard
Fairey, David Choe, Sam Flores, and Ron English.
The four-day art show and its related Unconventional ’08 concert, which
featured the bands Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Cold War Kids, Nada Surf
and performances by Jenny Lewis, Ben Gibbard from Death Cab for Cutie
and Zooey Deschanel, attracted some 8,000 people.
We are happy to let you know that this historical work of art measuring
10'x10' painted on multiple wood panels has finally arrived at New Image
Art. We invite you to come by the gallery at anytime to see it for yourself!
