Everybody wants the Doggie including me

Went to the opening at Scion.
Cool for all the Brazilian artists they brought to LA. The Brazilians visited me at NIA and were so cool I had to check out their show.
So much vitality and good vibes.
Amazing how many people go to art shows. Seems almost every show I go to is mobbed.

I brought the puppy to the opening and everyone wanted him. I was afraid Calma was going to hijack him to San Paulo. But apparently there are tons of stray dogs and cats there. Though he
was thinking about sneaking Diego - Tito Gonzales- Menudo in his bag!
Every 5 min we change the dog's name. So it ended up that Amber took the puppy home.
She bought him a cat collar and leash and a porcupine toy that he loves! I think we are going to share Chico Rodrigez Garcia. She already changed his name to Pablo Picaso and then to Tito
Monteban in the first half hour she had him.
She is giving him a bath tonight because he stinks!
I think his name should be either Menudo or Francis! Forget art and artists - dogs are more fun! Sometimes!!!!!

I Found A Really Cute Dog Today

I found a really cute male Chihuahua today while walking my dog.

Matt Furie's Animal Magnetism

We have 3 awesome artists up at the gallery this month.
The show is much different than many of our previous shows. The work is out there in a surreal, fantastic, fantasy format sort of way! Above are the works of Matt Furie who currently lives in SF.
All three of our current artists are heavily collected by other artists and are artist's artists!
Matt Furie has been collected by Matt Leines, and recently the director of the Wrestler and Pi
(not to be mistaken for "The Life of Pi")!!! Darren Aaronofsky.
Megan Whitmarsh is loved by many many artists and Faile has collected her work. She has a beautiful new book out that was published in Spain recently--- We have a few signed copies left.
CF has a serious cult following due to his drawings and amazing comic books which can be found at
Family (the best book store for sensitive and original publications) down the street from us on Fairfax. If you have not been to this book store check it out. It is very difficult to go in and not
find something you have never seen and also need desperately!

Thanks for everyones support for coming thru and hanging out and not messing with the building!!!

We are looking for a pop up space in NYC for Judith Supine.
